Have you ever been part of building, creating, or forming something new? Maybe you were part of building or forming something in a new way!
Each year, a group of volunteers meet and construct camp. They start with a goal of exposing campers to Jesus and challenging camp guests to be a witness wherever God leads them on their life’s adventures. During multiple planning meetings, ideas are put into place and connected to camp schedules and camp leaders.
Another group that constructs and creates ideas as they prayerfully plan is the Clown-Under-Construction team. This team practices, plans, and prays over their skits, songs, and schedules for many months prior to camp events. They too want to share God’s Love in unique and bold ways!
As campers register, other volunteers such as the teenage staffers, the worship leaders, and camptivity leaders not only gather materials, they also pray for guidance. Proverbs 16: 3 reminds Christians to place all of our plans before our Lord Jesus. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and HE will establish your plans!”
