What do Staffers do to prepare for camp?
By now, staffers have submitted an application to be considered as a staffer for Camp 2016. This is one of the first steps toward preparing for camp.
Throughout the next four months, staffer applicants will participate in weekly online trainings. They learn about sharing their Faith, leading Bible studies and activities, and singing our infamous camp songs! How many do you remember?
One of the most important tasks staffers do to prepare for camp is to pray. Staffers as well as leaders and campers can pray for God to prepare their minds and hearts for HIS Glory and HIS Story. We can all pray for our minds to be ready to hear what God wants us to know and hear while at camp. (Psalm 46:10 and Philippians 4:6-8)
Each staffer identifies and shares a favorite Bible verse; then she discusses how her verse has personal meaning. Do you have a Bible verse that has special meaning to you? If not, read some of the favorites from staffers: Ephesians 2: 8-10; Jeremiah 29: 11; Philippians 4:13; Proverbs 3: 5-6; and John 3:16.
There are many awesome sites that help teach about a Christian lifestyle. Some of them staffers might explore include: https://youtu.be/nUQ58RO6ve4
